No Condemnation

Have you spent a long time drafting an email or text message before; just to make sure the “t”s are well crossed and the “i”s are well dotted? Sometimes you leave it overnight, and read it again in the morning, before you send. Have you been in the situation where you draft a message, or email, and go over it several times to make sure your words, expressions, spellings, etc are impeccable and express the exact impressions you want to put across?
Compare that with those that you just type and send, without even looking over to see if your spellings, choice of words, punctuation and expressions are perfect.
Often we fear judgment and condemnation from people who are critical of us, and makes us extremely careful with them. However, when we are dealing with people we call our friends, we let our hair down, and feel at home to make mistakes. They love us, are accepting of our feeble human frame, tolerant of our mistakes, and do not condemn us.
The kind of friend we have in Jesus is the type that is non critical but loving. Paul, after persecuting the church for a long time, encountered the love of Jesus. This encounter with divine grace and forgiveness compelled him to later write:
When we come to Jesus, He doesn’t condemn us. He calls us “Friends,” wraps his arms around us, and tells us,
“It’s OK. I love you to the extent that I laid my life down for you. I have forgiven you.”
It is this divine expression of unmerited favour and extreme “Grace” that touch Paul and converted him from a murderer and persecutor of the church, to one of the greatest church planters in history.
Even the hardest sinner is aware he deserves condemnation; expects it and prepares for it. It takes him absolutely off-guard and transforms him, when he experiences grace, instead of condemnation.
If Jesus did not condemn, who are we to condemn?
May we be like Jesus, and surprise people with “grace.”

URGENT CALL
Every soul is valuable to God, far more than the entire world! But by nature, we are all sinful, and alienated from God, and we ultimately face his wrath!
God in His mercy and love made a way for us to remedy this. He gives us a chance to reverse this downward spiral to destruction, join His family, be part of His household, and become His children.
The first step to becoming a member of God’s household is for us to be saved.
Salvation comes through accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Personal Savior.
It is a very personal decision. No one can make that decision for you.
If you make that decision today, there will be great singing and rejoicing in heaven; because one new member has joined the family and household of God! A soul, much, much more valuable than the world, has been saved from destruction!
