Remain In Love
Views: 53
We started on a journey exactly a week ago, and on this journey:
- We looked at “Love“ and “The Love Test,” and concluded that the test of love is sacrifice and forgiveness.
- We went on to unpack “Sacrifice“ and “Forgiveness.”
- Then we gave “One More(Compelling) Reason“ why we should forgive.
- Then we looked at how forgiveness leads to “Healing and Wholeness,“
- And we looked at “Wholeness,” or what it means to be “Whole.“
We now look at how it all comes together. We will use the passionate conversation Jesus had with His disciples in John 15; after He predicted His death, washed his disciples’ feet, and promised them the Holy Spirit among other things (John 12-14). This is what He said;
Noteworthy are these points:
- We will bear much fruit when we remain in Christ; and without Him, we can do nothing.
- To remain in His love implies we have to obey His commands
- His command is that we have to love one another
We have had some very difficult conversations in the past week, and it all comes together in the fact that, we cannot do any of the things discussed in the past few days on our own. We need a lot of help to be successful in them, and Jesus offers that help. And this is how we can tap into that help.
First, we need to dedicate(or rededicate) or lives to Christ; and remain in Him by constantly having conversations with Him, through prayer; and allowing commands to speak to us, through reading and meditating on His word. Then obeying everything He tell us to do.
They are difficult, but not impossible, if we remain in His love.
With Him, all things are possible.

URGENT CALL
Every soul is valuable to God, far more than the entire world! But by nature, we are all sinful, and alienated from God, and we ultimately face his wrath!
God in His mercy and love made a way for us to remedy this. He gives us a chance to reverse this downward spiral to destruction, join His family, be part of His household, and become His children.
The first step to becoming a member of God’s household is for us to be saved.
Salvation comes through accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Personal Savior.
It is a very personal decision. No one can make that decision for you.
If you make that decision today, there will be great singing and rejoicing in heaven; because one new member has joined the family and household of God! A soul, much, much more valuable than the world, has been saved from destruction!

Thanks again for sharing on this topic. Sometimes I ask myself if am loving people enough. Love is a powerful thing. God is Love. To know that my multitude of sins can be covered by just loving others, makes it even dear to my heart (1 Pet 4:8). Lord teach us to truly know what it means to Love one another.

Amen…Love is indeed a very powerful thing. The name of this beautiful gift has however been abused so much. The only way we can restore its meaning is to point people to the Christ kind of love…God help us. Bless you!
